Sundog Expeditions has been operating in Alaska since 2001. We’ve remained a small company to offer intimate river experience for our clients. Our guest to guide ratio is low and our trips are geared for your individual level of experience. Sundog Expeditions offers trips that take you to some of the most beautiful places in Alaska that can only be best accessed through river canyons.

All meals will be provided on the river, from lunch on the first day of your trip through lunch on your last day. You will enjoy a wonderful menu of delicious and healthy foods. We are able to accommodate most dietary preferences and requirements.

Sundog operates with quality river rafts and gear that make expedition river rafting possible. All gear is quality inspected before, during, and after trips to ensure reliability. Participation is encouraged but not required while traveling downriver and there is ample opportunity for exercise and body movement during our expeditions.

At Sundog Expeditions each and every one of us is committed to providing you with the best and safest adventure vacation possible. Sundog Expeditions has an excellent safety record and our guides are trained in wilderness medicine and rescue. There is potential risk in any outdoor activity and it is important that you are aware of possible hazards associated with the adventure you have selected. Before you embark on any wilderness trip, you will be required to read, understand and sign a "Participant Agreement, Release, and Acknowledgement of Risk" Form. For participants under the age of 18 a parent or legal guardian must sign and indemnify on behalf of the minor.
